16 Days Italy Tour Package: Venice, Rome & Amalfi
This 16 day Italy tour package takes you from the canals of Venice to the Amalfi Coast, flying into Venice and out of Naples so you never retrace your steps. You begin with two nights in Venice, exploring St Mark's Basilica, the Grand Canal and the glass-making island of Murano, then relax for two nights beside Lake Garda in Sirmione. After a day in Verona, the city of Romeo and Juliet, you spend three nights in Florence for the Uffizi, Michelangelo's David and the Duomo, followed by three nights in Rome to see the Colosseum, the Roman Forum and the Vatican. The journey ends with three nights in Sorrento, with day trips to Capri and the Amalfi Coast, and a final night in Naples after a visit to Pompeii. What makes this tour different is how easy it is to travel: every transfer uses public transport, such as high speed trains, local trains, ferries and buses. You stay in handpicked, centrally located 4-star hotels, with a relaxed breakfast each morning. It suits couples, families and first-time visitors who want to see Italy's highlights at a comfortable pace, with more time to enjoy each place and less time in transit.

Itinerary
Morning You land at Venice Marco Polo Airport and begin one of the most memorable arrivals in Europe, because Venice has no cars at all. You reach the city by water. The Alilaguna boat takes about 1 hour to 1 hour 15 minutes to the centre, while the airport bus to Piazzale Roma takes about 20 minutes, followed by a short vaporetto ride or walk.
Afternoon Your hotel and check-in: You will stay at a handpicked, centrally located 4★ hotel close to the Santa Lucia station and the Grand Canal. After settling in, take a ride on vaporetto line 1 along the Grand Canal, a slow and scenic trip of about 45 to 50 minutes past palaces and bridges.
Evening Wander the quiet lanes of San Polo and cross the Rialto Bridge as the lights come on. Enjoy a first dinner of cicchetti, Venice’s small tapas-style bites, with a glass of prosecco, or a seafood dinner by the water. Early night after a long journey
