JetAlps Tours Cancellation & Refund Policy
At JetAlps Tours, we understand that travel plans can change unexpectedly. Because we design bespoke, highly customized itineraries across diverse global destinations, we do not apply a rigid, one-size-fits-all cancellation matrix.
1. Tailored Cancellation & Refund Evaluations
Because our itineraries feature unique components, ranging from boutique alpine stays to specialized local operators, different tours carry distinct cancellation and refund arrangements based on the specific partner policies we must honor.
- Case-by-Case Assessment: Every cancellation request is evaluated individually on a case-by-case basis. We advocate on your behalf with our local operators to recover the maximum possible amount.
- Upfront Transparency: To ensure complete clarity, the exact cancellation, modification, and refund clauses specific to your journey will be clearly communicated on your tour package document before finalization and payment. Once a booking is finalized, those package-specific clauses govern the reservation.
- Written Request Requirement: All cancellation or modification requests must be submitted formally in writing via email to info@jetalps.com to initiate the review process.
2. Strictly Non-Refundable Items
Regardless of specific operator variances, certain upfront operational costs are inherently non-refundable once paid, as these funds are committed immediately to secure your booking:
- Pre-purchased attraction entrance tickets, National Park fees, and exclusive activity permits.
- Administrative payment gateway processing fees (typically 8–10% depending on the card issuer or financial institution).
- Non-refundable deposits mandated by properties or transport providers during peak travel seasons.
3. Postponements & Date Modifications
We want to help you experience your journey whenever possible. If you need to modify your travel dates instead of canceling entirely, the following conditions apply:
- Variable Notice Period: There is no fixed deadline or timeline to submit a date change request. The required notice period depends entirely on the specific tour operator, the destination country, and the travel season. Because these parameters vary significantly, availability for modifications cannot be guaranteed if requests are made close to the departure date.
- Strict Availability Constraints: All modifications are subject strictly to the real-time availability of vehicles, guides, accommodation, and regional permits. JetAlps Tours cannot guarantee that alternative dates will be available, particularly during peak travel seasons or in high-demand destinations.
- Mandatory Fees & Cost Adjustments: The client assumes full financial responsibility for any and all administrative rebooking fees levied by underlying operators. Furthermore, the client must cover all seasonal price differentials for hotels, flights, or ground logistics. Date modifications will not be finalized until all associated rebooking fees and price differences are paid in full.
4. Refund Processing Time
- Once an eligible operator refund is successfully secured and approved, it will be processed and initiated within 7 to 14 business days.
- All funds will be credited back exclusively to the original payment method used during the initial booking.
- JetAlps Tours is not responsible for variations in the final received amount due to currency exchange fluctuations or international banking intermediary fees.
5. Unused Tour Services
Once the tour has officially commenced, no refunds, partial credits, or adjustments will be issued for any unused portions of the itinerary. This includes missed meals, skipped sightseeing attractions, voluntary early departures, or unused hotel nights due to personal choices, flight delays, or late arrivals.
6. Force Majeure & Weather Conditions
- Weather Disruptions: Tours operate rain or shine unless conditions are officially deemed unsafe by local authorities. No refunds are granted for unappealing weather if the tour is legally and physically able to run safely.
- Force Majeure: In the event of natural disasters, government restrictions, political unrest, or other extreme circumstances entirely beyond our control, JetAlps Tours reserves the right to cancel or alter the itinerary. In these rare events, we will work with our operators to provide options to reschedule the tour or issue a credit voucher for future travel.
