Where it all began
JetAlps was founded by two individuals inspired by a shared travel experience and a common vision.
The spark was ignited during a family journey through the heart of Norway. Along the "Norway in a Nutshell" route, traveling through fjords, mountains, and quiet roads at their own pace, they experienced every detail and the essence of nature. It also sparked a vital question: Why is this depth of experience so rare? What prevents most people from reaching these untouched corners of the world?
After years of unique travel experiences in all corners of the world, they realized something both simple and powerful: when travel is thoughtfully designed, it replaces the weight of uncertainty with the power of confidence. They understood that true exploration requires more than just an itinerary; it requires the kind of expertise that dismantles barriers and makes the impossible possible.
From this realization, JetAlps was created to offer others the same sense of calm, guidance, and seamless travel from the very first step, allowing them to experience the world with ease and confidence.

Co-founder
Sampath Perumbuli is a digital transformation leader with over two decades of experience driving large-scale change across complex organizations. He specializes in building modern digital ecosystems, leading high-performing teams, and aligning technology, people, and strategy to foster sustainable digital maturity.
Alongside his professional career, Sampath has spent more than 15 years as an intentional global traveler, independently designing self-paced journeys across diverse regions. Prioritizing regional rail networks, scenic routes, and cultural depth, his approach to travel directly mirrors his strategic mindset. He treats every journey as a dynamic blueprint, balancing thoughtful structure with the freedom to explore.

Manjula Vidanagamachchige
Co-founder
Manjula Vidanagamachchi is a co-founder whose career reflects both technical depth and people-centred leadership. Trained initially as textile engineer, she began her professional journey in structured, high-precision environments before consciously transitioning into operations, administration, and project-driven roles across global industries.
Her experience spans fast-paced international manufacturing environments and complex operational settings within the UK, where she worked across end-to-end processes, compliance, digital workflows, and multi-stakeholder coordination. Over the years, she has led diverse teams, managed full operational lifecycles, and built systems that balance efficiency with human needs.
This blend of engineering discipline, project management thinking, and people-focused operations shaped Manjula’s leadership approach. She is known for clarity, structure, and an ability to translate complexity into well-governed, practical outcomes, qualities that form the organisational foundation of JetAlps.
Sampath As a travel consultant
Sampath brings this unique blend of digital architecture, execution discipline, and independent travel experience directly into JetAlps' travel consultancy. He specialises in designing high-autonomy journeys, experiences that give travelers freedom and flexibility, supported by expert planning and robust systems behind the scenes.
Applying skills gained from leading large-scale digital transformations, he focuses on structure, flow, and reliability: optimised connections, secure bookings, clear information, and journeys that "just work." His personal travel philosophy of slow travel, scenic routes, and immersive exploration shapes itineraries that prioritise depth over speed and discovery over checklists.
